We carefully collect information from thousands of public sources, including phone directories, real estate records, census data, mailing lists, surveys, public social media profiles, and many more. We only access information from publicly available sources, which means we cannot access private information such as text messages, call history, or emails.
Our data is used for a wide range of purposes, from helping businesses reduce fraud to reconnecting people with family and friends they have lost touch with over the years. However, we are not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and do not provide consumer reports. Therefore, people cannot use our data to make decisions related to employment, housing, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA.
The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) is a federal law that regulates how your information is used and who can access it. It imposes certain requirements on Consumer Reporting Agencies aimed at promoting fairness, impartiality, accuracy, and respect for a consumer’s right to privacy
We are not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We do not allow our data to be used to evaluate a consumer’s eligibility for loans, credit, or insurance; to assess a person’s eligibility for employment or volunteer opportunities; to determine a person’s eligibility for government licenses or benefits; to evaluate a person for renting residential property; or for any other purpose specified in the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Our services are designed for clients operating within the United States and provide information only on publicly available data of U.S. residents. Additionally, clients outside the United States are prohibited from using our services.
We do not maintain extensive databases and do not store your personal files. Each time you request a service, we directly access records from U.S. public sources, such as phone directories and public information from state governments. After gathering the information, we send it directly to you and then permanently delete it without retaining any copies.
